Sven Walter

Sven Walter (born May 22, 1974 in Pirmasens ) is a German philosopher .

Walter studied at the Universities of Saarland and Bonn philosophy with minors in literature , Slavic , logic and basic research and Dutch Philology and a doctorate in 2005 with the work Physicalism and Mental Causation. An Argument for Epiphenomenalism .

Today he is Professor of Philosophy of Cognition at the University of Osnabrück . His main field of work is the philosophy of mind . As one of the few philosophers in Germany, he deals with the thesis of the expanded spirit .
