Sverre Brandt

Sverre Brandt (born March 3, 1880 in Trondheim , † July 16, 1962 in Lillehammer ) was a Norwegian playwright and theater assistant. His best-known work is the fairy tale game for children Reisen til julestjernen (German: The Journey to the Poinsettia ) from 1924, which was performed in many Scandinavian theaters and also made into a film.

From 1919 to 1948 he was the commercial director of the Norwegian National Theater in Oslo .
