Sverrir Gudnason
Sverrir Páll Guðnason (born September 12, 1978 in Reykjavík , Höfuðborgarsvæðið , Iceland ) is a Swedish actor .
Life
Sverrir Guðnason, who came from an Icelandic family, grew up in Reykjavík. When his father accepted a professorship at the Royal Technical University of Stockholm in 1990 , he came to Sweden with his family at the age of eleven. He became known in 2007 through the series Upp till kamp . He is known to German audiences as a police candidate Pontus Höijer in the crime series Mankells Wallander .
For his portrayal of Sture in the Swedish biography film Monica Z , Guðnason was awarded the Swedish Guldbagge Film Prize for Best Supporting Actor in 2014. As Kristian Keskitalo in Jens Östberg's thriller Flugparken , he received the same award for Best Actor in 2015 .
