The Swedish Open 2012 was a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2012 for women and a tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour 2012 for men in Båstad . The men's tournament took place from July 9th to 15th, 2012, the women's tournament one week later from July 16th to 22nd, 2012.
The defending champion in the singles was Robin Söderling for the men and Polona Hercog for the women. In the men's doubles, the pairing Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecău , in the women's doubles, the pairing Lourdes Domínguez Lino and María José Martínez Sánchez the defending champions.
