Sweep is a free audio editor and recorder for Linux , BSD and compatible platforms. It supports multi-channel editing , the Ladspa (LADSPA) for effect - plug-ins and a number of audio formats u. a. MP3 , WAV , AIFF , Speex and Vorbis . Sweep furthermore features so-called DJ functions such as pitch -Control and, by means of the Scrubby said stylus -like cursor , scratching .
Software development is supported by Pixar Animation Studios and the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization .
