The Swinford Glacier is a 10 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain, it flows between Mount Holloway and the Marshall Mountains to the Beardmore Glacier .
The southern group of the Nimrod Expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered him. It is named after Shackleton's older of two sons, Raymond Swinford Shackleton (1905–1960).
