Swiss Air Traffic Controllers' Associations

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Swiss Air Traffic Controllers' Associations (SwissATCA) is the umbrella organization of three air traffic controllers - trade unions in Switzerland. The umbrella organization includes the trade unions Aerocontrol Switzerland, Association du Personnel de la Tour de Contrôle et du Terminal Genève (APTC) and Skycontrol, which together represent around 400 employees.

The tariff partner is Skyguide , the state-owned Swiss provider of civil and military air traffic control . SwissACTA and Skyguide maintain a social partnership and negotiate, among other things, collective labor agreements in this context . There has been no contract since January 1, 2017 after negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement failed.

SwissACTA is internationally networked - among other things as a member of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations (IFATCA) - and works with other unions such as the Swiss Confederation Staff Association (PVB), the SWISS -Pilotenverband Aeropers and the German Air Traffic Control Union ( GdF) together.
