The Swiss Prime Tower Bornwald was a nine-meter-high viewing platform in the Swiss municipality of Olten ( Canton Solothurn ). The tower was dismantled in mid-2019 and is no longer available.
The Swiss Prime Tower Bornwald was built for the Solothurn Forest Days 2014. The viewing platform was made entirely of Swiss wood from the region.
38 steps led to the platform at a height of 7.5 meters. From this one had a view over the Aare , the municipalities of Olten and Aarburg , the Jura chain , the Gösgen nuclear power plant and the Sälischlössli on the Engelberg .
