Sybel
Sybel is the name of a German aristocratic family whose origins lie in Freudenberg (Siegerland) and whose lineage begins in the 16th century with Johannes Sybel (around 1500 – after 1558), rector of the Archigymnasium in Soest .
Nobility rise
The royal Prussian Government to Dusseldorf Heinrich Ferdinand Sybel was on September 2, 1831 Berlin elevated to the Prussian nobility.
Enrollment in the aristocratic class in the Kingdom of Bavaria took place on August 17, 1857 for his son Dr. jur. et phil. Heinrich von Sybel , Royal Bavarian Professor at the University of Munich , later Royal Prussian Real Privy Council and State Archives Director in Berlin.

In silver, a bar split five times by black and red, accompanied above by a striding black steed , below by three red roses on a common green stem. On the helmet with black and silver blankets on the right and red and silver blankets on the left, the here winged horse grows.
