Sybille Haussmann

Sybille Haußmann (born October 29, 1960 in Hildesheim ) is an expert on migration and integration in Germany.

education and profession

Sybille Haussmann graduated from high school in 1980. From 1981 to 1984 she completed a degree in social work at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences , which she completed as a social worker. From 1985 to 1986 she did a year of recognition in the youth welfare office of the Erftkreis . From 1986 to 1990 she worked as a consultant and administrator in the Hartmann law firm, Brammertz, Reuffurth. From 1992 to 1996 she acted as the refugee commissioner for the Protestant parishes in the Jülich region . She was the equal opportunities officer of the Düren district administration from 1996 to 2000. Sybille Haußmann was a member of the 13th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from October 25, 2000 to June 2, 2005 , where she was the migration and legal policy spokesperson for her parliamentary group . Then she returned to the Düren district administration , this time in the role of migration officer. Since 2010 she has been the head of the staff unit for migration matters.

Haußmann lives in Düren, is married to Oliver Krischer and has two sons.

politics

Sybille Haußmann has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 1996. In recent years she has held various functions in the district association and also at the state level, including being a delegate for the state party congress and the state council. Since 2005 she has been the spokesperson for the state working group for immigrants in North Rhine-Westphalia and a delegate for the federal working group for migration and flight. She has been a member of the ver.di union since 1996.

Volunteering

Sybille Haußmann has been a member of the presbytery of the Evangelical Church in Düren since 2005 . Since 2006 member of the board of Heinrich-Böll-Haus-Langenbroich e. V.
