Sydney Darts Masters

The Sydney Darts Masters was a darts tournament organized by the PDC as part of the World Series of Darts . The competition was held for the first time in 2013 and was held for the last time in 2016 . The venue in 2016, as in 2014, was the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney .

The record winner is Phil Taylor , who has won each of the four previous events.

qualification

The field of participants consisted of 8-16 players. Eight of them were seeded and the other eight possibly unset.

In addition to the top 6 of the PDC Order of Merit, two further wildcards will be awarded before the season . These eight players form the eight seeded players in each tournament in the World Series series . In addition, eight regional players have the opportunity to qualify as unset players.

Prize money

The prize money for the Sydney Darts Masters was not officially announced.

Since it was an invitation tournament, the prizes won were not taken into account when calculating the PDC Order of Merit.
