The Sydvästra Gotland Järnvägsaktiebolag (SGJ) was a Swedish corporation .

The company was founded to plan and build the extension of the Roma – Klintehamn railway line south to Silte and Hablingbo. The first discussions took place in 1906. But it was not until 1912 that a license was applied for for a railway from Klintehamn to Hablingbo. In May 1913 this was approved for the route Klintehamn – Fröjel – Eksta – Spronge – Silte – Hablingbo. The concession described a line with a gauge of 891 mm and a length of 27 kilometers, the Klintehamn – Hablingbo railway line .

The concession had to be renewed repeatedly due to financial and economic difficulties during the First World War . With a government loan, construction began on a small scale in 1917, and was expanded considerably in March 1922. The route was completed in August 1923 and used for the beet campaign in autumn. On June 7, 1924, the line was opened for general goods and passenger traffic.

A tank locomotive , a bogie passenger car and 32 two-axle freight cars , including two covered cars, were procured to operate the line . The vehicle maintenance was carried out by Klintehamn-Roma Järnväg (KIRJ).

On January 1, 1927, the SGJ was taken over by the Klintehamn-Roma Järnvägsaktiebolag due to acute financial problems .
