Syleena Johnson (born September 2, 1976 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American songwriter and contemporary R&B / soul singer. She gained notoriety through collaborations with performers such as R. Kelly and Kanye West . In September 2005, Jive Records released their third album, Chapter III: The Flesh .
