Sylt1 is a private television broadcaster in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein . It was licensed as a full program by the Medienanstalt Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein . Since 2010, the station has been broadcasting its program under the motto "Sylt1 - the Sylt television" on the cable networks of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.

The Cologne-based media entrepreneur Axel Link is the managing director and editor-in-chief. The shareholders are BbG Betriebsberatung Bayreuth (50%), Heike Holst (25%) and Axel Link (25%).

Sylt1 has the latest news with regional weather information and event tips in its program every day. The Syltzeit magazine starts a new broadcast hour every day from 7:00 p.m., which is repeated in a 24-hour loop. Additional programs are Hamburg meets Sylt and the Sylt report. All contributions and programs can also be accessed in the broadcaster's media library .
