Sylvie Marks (born January 1, 1968 ) is a German producer of electronic music and disc jockey .

Life

Marks received classical music training in her youth in the 1970s, including on the piano.

After her first experiences in a band, she produced her first mixtape in 1989 . At the beginning of the 1990s she professionalized her DJ career and appeared in the Frankfurt techno club Dorian Gray , in exile in Koblenz, in the Babula in Munich and in the Cologne Space Club . At Dorian Gray , she had her own series of events called Brain Beats . Also in the radio broadcasts like the Hr3 Club Night and the Frankfurt Radio X , it was represented.

The first publications appeared in 1992, including two EPs together with the Frankfurt producer Peter Kuhlmann as Synsyl on FAX + 49-69 / 450464 . The following year Marks founded her own label, Self Made Studios .

In 1996 her remix for Marusha's single Secret was released on the Low Spirit label .

From 2001, publications followed on the Berlin label BPitch Control . In 2003, she contributed vocals to the track Spinach Girl of Agoria at.

Mark's debut album Krazeee , also released by BPitch Control in 2004 , was a co-production with Hal9000, with whom Marks had worked repeatedly since 1998.
