Career

society

Sylvio Hoffmann, also spelled Silvio Hoffmann Mazzi , played in his career for various clubs in Brazil and Uruguay.

Stations in his career were Vasco, Fluminense, São Cristovão-RJ, Botafogo, Santos, São Paulo and Humberto-SP. In addition, he is also partially listed as a player of Club Atlético Peñarol in 1933 and attributed to him winning the Uruguayan championship there. But this cannot be true because in the 1933 season, Peñarol's competitor Nacional Montevideo won the title. In addition, his name is not mentioned in the roster of 1933 and is not to be found in relevant literature on the Uruguayan club. In fact, he was a member of the Peñarol squad in the Primera División in 1935 . In that season the Montevideans won the Uruguayan Championship. Hoffmann is, however, not mentioned in listings for the regular team for the season. However, Sylvio Hoffmann is credited with the Rio de Janeiro State Championship that year with Botafogo Rio de Janeiro .

National team

He was a member of the Brazilian national team at the 1934 World Cup and on the subsequent trip with numerous friendly matches. He came here to a total of ten missions, two of which were official internationals. He didn't score a goal here.
