Sylwia Czerniak

Sylwia Anna Czerniak (married Sylwia Anna Behnke ) (born November 29, 1971 in Stettin ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Czerniak succeeded in 1993 with VfL Bochum promotion to the 1st women's basketball league . She left Bochum in the run-up to the 1996/97 season and moved within the top German division to DJK Würzburg . From the 1997/98 season she played for the DJK Aschaffenburg (also Bundesliga). With Aschaffenburg, Czerniak also took part in the European club competition Ronchetti Cup in 1997/98 and in the Euroleague in 1998/99 . The development player was in Aschaffenburg until November 1998.

Czerniak played 17 full international matches for Germany between December 1995 and May 1997. Her best result in an international match was 19 points in late December 1995 against the selection of Lithuania .
