Sylwia Grzeszczak [ ˈsɨlvʲia ˈgʐɛʂʈ͡ʂak ] (born April 7, 1989 in Poznan ) is a Polish pop singer who became known through her collaboration with the Polish rapper Liber.
Life
As a child she took part in the show Od przedszkola do Opola . She attended the music school in Poznan in grade II. She plays the piano and the violin. She graduated from the Music School in Poznan in the second level in the piano class.
She took part in the Polish version of Pop Idol in season 4 . In 2004 she won the Polish singing competition Drzwi do kariery . In 2006 she sang on the sixth studio album by the hip hop group Ascetoholix Background. In 2007 she sang background on the first studio album by Polish actress and singer Agnieszka Włodarczyk . She took part in Liber's Gwiazdy na Warmii i Mazurach tour.
In 2008 she released her debut album Ona i On with the rapper Liber . This reached number 27 in the Polish album charts.
In 2011 she recorded the song Muzyki moc with 11 other musicians on the occasion of the 10th birthday of the Polish music channel VIVA Polska , which won the 2011 VIVA Cometen in the category najlepsze na VIVA-TV.pl .
On October 11th, 2011 Grzeszczak's second studio album Sen o przyszłości was released . Even before the album was released, the album received the gold record in Poland. In the same week of release, the album reached number 29 on the Polish album charts. In the next week the album reached the top position. In February 2012 the album was certified twice the platinum record. The first single Małe rzeczy was released on June 17, 2011. The song reached number 1 in the Polish single charts, where it stayed for 8 weeks without a break. In 2012 the song won the Polish VIVA Comet in the Hit of the Year category . In September 2011, the second single Sen o przyszłości was released . The song reached number 1 in the Polish airplay charts. The third single Karuzela was released in February 2012 and reached position 2 in Poland.
On June 11, 2013 Grzeszczak's third studio album, Composując Siebie ( Eng . " Compose yourself") was released. This reached number 47 on the Polish album charts in the week of its release. In the coming week, the album was placed at number 7. In the coming weeks composując siebie reached position 5. The first single "Flirt" premiered on March 8, 2013 on several Polish radio stations. In the Polish single charts, the song rose to position 3. The second single "Pożyczony" was released on June 5, 2013. In August 2013, it reached number 1 in the Polish single charts for three weeks as a result.
