Eska TV is a private Polish-language music television broadcaster based in Warsaw . The station started on August 8, 2008 as a live stream. Eska TV has been an independent television station since May 28, 2009. The station can be received via cable, satellite, antenna, IPTV and live stream.
history
On August 8th, 2008 Eska TV started as a live stream. On May 28, 2009, the station was launched as a pay-TV station and can be received via satellite and cable . The station could be received by satellite on platform n . On October 5, 2009, the station was activated as an FTA station via satellite (HotBird 13 °) , but only for people with an HDTV receiver. The reason for this was that the free-to-air version of the station only broadcast via DVB-S2 , with the station broadcasting in SDTV and not in HDTV. Initially, the station should only be free to receive for a few weeks, although the station was no longer encrypted later.
Since September 1, 2010, the station has been freely available to everyone, as the station broadcasts from there via DVB-S . The broadcast via DVB-S2 was switched off on September 2, 2010. Since December 19, 2011, the station has been digitally receivable via DVB-T . Since July 10, 2015, HD can only be received via cable. On September 28, 2016, the channel in DVB-T was replaced by the lifestyle and music channel 8TV . However, on June 16, 2017, 8TV was discontinued and Eska TV again took over the transmission frequency via DVB-T. At the same time, the new FTA channel Eska TV Extra was introduced. On September 1, 2017, Eska Rock TV began broadcasting via satellite (HotBird 13 °) as an FTA broadcaster.
Since 2016, the Eska TV website has been available to purchase the channels Eska GO !, Eska Best Music TV, Eska Party TV, WaWa TV.
