Polo TV is a Polish music broadcaster based in Warsaw . The owner is Telewizja Polsat ( formerly ZPR Media ). Polo TV is Eska TV's sister channel .

history

On April 7, 2011, the test operation began as a live stream. On April 26, 2011, the National Broadcasting Council of Poland granted the license for the music program Polo TV. On May 7, 2011, Polo TV started broadcasting as a free-to-air television channel. The broadcast was initially exclusively via satellite and from December 19, 2011 terrestrially. From September to December 2011 Polo TV was the second most watched music channel in Poland, and in July 2012 Polo TV took first place among the music channels in Poland.

On October 1, 2013, in addition to broadcasting music programs, Polo TV began broadcasting a television series for the first time .
