Synagogue (Astryna)
The synagogue in Astryna , a small town in Hrodsenskaya Woblasz in northern Belarus , was built in 1898. The synagogue was used for other purposes after the Second World War . Today the building is empty and in ruins.
Before 1941, the proportion of the Jewish population in Astryna was very high. The majority of the Jewish population was murdered by the German occupiers during the Holocaust .
