The free game world championship in 1950 was the 14th UIFAB world championship in the free game. The tournament took place from May 26th to 30th in Madrid , Spain.

history

For the second time in a row, the World Cup in the free game took place in Madrid. For the first time, Pedro Leopoldo Carrera was a representative from South America in the field of participants. The Argentine all-rounder was also able to secure the title unbeaten. Carrera was a superstar in Argentina and was promoted by President Perón. In his fourth participation, the Spaniard Joaquin Domingo was second for the fourth time and improved the world record in the general average (GD) to 81.17 . With Rafael Garcia, a second Spaniard came third on the podium.

Tournament mode

Round robin mode was played with nine participants. In the event of a tie, the following order will be applied:

  3. HS = maximum series
