The free game world championship in 1935 was the eighth UIFAB world championship in the free game. The tournament took place from May 23rd to 26th in Bordeaux , France.

history

After the exclusion of the German Amateur Billiards Association at the UIFAB General Assembly in Scheveningen, no German players were allowed to participate in international tournaments. The reason was that the German National Socialist Reich leadership did not adhere to the international guidelines of sport (including the non-dispatch of the defending champion to the World Cup in Vienna). (Deutsche Billard-Zeitung)

The world championship ended with the French Jean Albert defending his title. He set all tournament records and screwed the prolonged top series to the new world record of 1386 . Second was the Spaniard Joaquin Domingo , who took part in a world championship in the free game for the first time. Juan Butrón came third again, as he did in 1934, and was able to play a game in one recording.
