Synagogue (Louny)

The synagogue in Louny (German Laun ), the district town of Okres Louny in Ústecký kraj in the Czech Republic , was built in 1871. The profane synagogue is located at Hilbertova 70.
In the early 1870s, the Jewish community had a new synagogue built in an oriental style . It was built according to plans by the Prague architect Johann Staniek.
An archive is now housed in the former synagogue building. The interior has not been preserved.
