The synagogue in Keszthely , a Hungarian town in Zala County on the west bank of Lake Balaton , was built in 1852. The synagogue in the style of neoclassicism is a protected monument .

In 1894 the synagogue of the neological community was rebuilt and in 1898 an organ was created by Sándor Országh .

During the Second World War , the synagogue was misused by the Germans.

From 1993 to 1995 the synagogue building was extensively renovated.
