Synagogue (Odolanów)
The synagogue in Odolanów (German Adelnau ), a town in western Poland that belongs to the powiat Ostrowski in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , was built in the late 1820s.
The synagogue building was financed by wealthy members of the Jewish community .
Until the beginning of the 1870s, the community had its own rabbi . After that, only a teacher or cantor was employed.
The synagogue building was devastated during the German occupation in World War II and served as a residential and warehouse for a long time after 1945. Today the building is in ruins.
