The synagogue in Chodzież , a small Polish town in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , was built between 1835 and 1837. The synagogue had two previous buildings that fell victim to the city fires of 1713 and 1835.

The synagogue was destroyed by the German occupiers in World War II in 1941 .

Commemoration

In November 2012, a memorial stone with a bilingual inscription was placed on the site of the synagogue: “Until 1941, the synagogue of the Jewish community stood here. Its members and their place of worship were victims of National Socialism. Dedicated to us and future generations as a reminder and reminder. "
