Great Synagogue in Kalisz

The Great Synagogue in Kalisz (German Kalisch ), a Polish city ​​in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , was built in 1852 and destroyed by the German occupiers in 1940 .

The synagogue in the style of historicism was at the Nadwodna Street.

The liberal community members founded their own Jewish community, which built the New Synagogue in 1910/11 .
