Synagogue in Buk

The synagogue in Buk , a Polish city in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , was built in 1909. The secular synagogue is classified as a cultural monument.

The neo-Romanesque synagogue was built on the site of a previous building from 1858. Until the beginning of the German occupation of Poland in 1939, the building was used for church services.

After various conversions (workshop and sports hall), the synagogue building was renovated from 1987 by the foundation of the Nissenbaum family (see Shimon Nissenbaum ) in Warsaw . The current owner of the building is the city of Buk.
