The Seebachsee is a small cirque lake on a valley floor at an altitude of 2085 m above sea level. A. in Pinzgau .
It lies in a left, western side valley of the Obersulzbachtal and below the Hütteltalkopf ( 2962 m ). The lake can be reached from the Berndlalm . The runoff into Obersulzbachtal is about 1 km long and overcomes a height difference of about 600 m. It is accompanied by several waterfalls and a gorge .
Seebachfall natural monument
The waterfall at the Taltrogwand and the Seebachfall are worth seeing. The latter is one of the most important natural monuments ( NDM00204 ) in the Obersulzbachtal, it is located about 100 m northwest of the Berndlalm inn. At an altitude of 1400 to 1500 m above sea level, it falls over an approx. 100 m high rock face in the central gneiss ( ⊙ ). It shapes the landscape, and a 10 m wide strip of land on both sides is also protected. The protected area has a size of 0.93 ha and has been a natural monument since March 4, 1986 .
