The Waldgrehweiler synagogue was a single-storey quarry stone building with a half-timbered gable and a saddle roof covered with hollow tiles , which stood on the eaves here on the square, somewhat set back from the main street (popularly referred to as "Judengasse" in this section) of Waldgrehweiler . The entrance to the prayer house was a simple rectangular entrance with sandstone walls. The only decoration was the Hebrew inscription of the slightly arched lintel (today walled in Triftstraße 4 in Obermoschel) from Psalm 118.20: "This is the gate of the Lord, the righteous will enter it".

According to stories, the "Judenschule" - as it is still called today in the town - was built and furnished in 1806/1810. Unfortunately, almost nothing is known about the history of the Waldgrehweiler synagogue. According to oral tradition, the synagogue also had a ritual bath ( mikveh ) and a school room. The synagogue building was later used as a barn. This was canceled in the late 1950s to early 1960s. It formed the center of the settlement between “Ronseweges” (main road towards Ransweiler) and Ransenbach, popularly known as “Judeneck” or “Klostereck”. The oldest houses in the municipality are still here today. They are all built as half-timbered buildings and some are under monument protection. The cellar of the residential building at Hauptstrasse 32 is dated 1577. In addition to the residential buildings, agricultural buildings such as barns and wooden sheds characterize the complex.
