The synagogue in Altenkirchen (Westerwald) , the district town of the Altenkirchen (Westerwald) district in Rhineland-Palatinate , served the Jewish community of Altenkirchen (Westerwald) . It was built from 1882 to 1884 and set on fire during the November pogroms in 1938 .

history

The synagogue was on Mackensenstrasse, today Frankfurter Strasse. It offered space for about 120 believers. Above the portal were law panels attached.

A commemorative plaque was placed in front of the square where the synagogue stood. There is now a parking lot at the site of the former synagogue.
