Kempen synagogue district

The Kempen synagogue district , based in Kempen , a town in the Viersen district in North Rhine-Westphalia , was created under the Prussian Jewish Law of 1847 .

The synagogue district included all places in the Kempen district except for Vorst . From about 1855 the Jewish residents of Süchteln and Oedt also belonged to it.
