Sinzig synagogue district

The Sinzig synagogue district with its seat in Sinzig was created according to the Prussian Jewish Law of 1847 .

The synagogue district , which was created around 1859, not only included the members of the Sinzig Jewish community in 1875 , but also the Jews in Bodendorf , Brohl , Löhndorf , Niederbreisig , Oberbreisig , Oberwinter , Remagen and Westum .

A religion teacher was employed in the synagogue district of Sinzig to take care of religious tasks for the community, who was also active as a prayer leader and schochet .
