Szabolcs Törő

Szabolcs Törő [ ˈsɒboltʃ ˈtørøː ] (born March 10, 1983 ) is a Hungarian handball player .

The 1.87 meter tall and 82 kilogram left winger is under contract with Tatabánya KC . He previously played for JD Arrate , Dunaferr SE and Tatabánya KC. With these two clubs he played in the EHF Cup (seasons 2004/05 to 2007/08) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2001/02, 2008/09).

Szabolcs Törő scored 173 goals in 91 international matches for the Hungarian national team (as of December 2013); he was in Hungary's squad for the 2010 and 2014 European handball championships .
