Szandra Pergel (born December 24, 1988 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian table tennis player .

Career

Pergel had her first international appearances in 2002, when she took part in the European Youth Championships in Moscow. There she won bronze in doubles with Gabriele Feher . A year later she was third in the individual. Because of her good performances, the Hungarian was allowed to play in the youth world championships in 2004. Here, however, she did not come close to medal ranks. In the same year she won silver in doubles and with the team at the JEM.

At the professional level, Pergel was used for the first time in 2007 and took part in the European Championship ; but here she was eliminated in singles, doubles and mixed in the second round. At the World Championships in Zagreb , the left-hander made it to the last sixteen in doubles, in singles she was eliminated in the round of 128 against Tetjana Bilenko . She was most successful in Pro Tour tournaments; For example, she won the Croatia and Belgium Open in 2012.
