Scene was a youth magazine in the First German television , that of 1972 bis 1979 by the Bavarian Radio was produced and in every year with the corresponding year (. Eg "Scene '73") presents.

Thomas Gottschalk moderated the scene , which was broadcast on Friday afternoons, from 1976 to 1979. Under him, the program developed into a pure music program with studio appearances by bands such as the Bay City Rollers , Smokie or Status Quo . The program was supplemented by interviews, such as on July 16, 1976 with Kiss and first video clips, such as "I Don't Like Mondays" by The Boomtown Rats . From 1977 he was co-host Anthony Powell with slapstick interludes . The show is considered to be Thomas Gottschalk's breakthrough on television. The last episode ran on November 16, 1979.

From 1980 the show was continued as a Pop Stop until 1983. Gottschalk and Powell moderated this until 1981. They were replaced in 1982 by Peter Gorski and Evelyn Seibert .
