Szilárd ruby

Szilárd Rubin (born September 6, 1927 in Budapest ; died April 14, 2010 in Tapolca ) was a Hungarian writer.

Life

Rubin went to school in Budapest and studied from 1945 to 1947 at the Budapest Pázmány University . He published an article in the short-lived Újhold magazine . He worked as an editor at Interpress Kiadó. In 1952 his first novel Földobott kő was published , in 1973 his only foray into the crime genre. In communist Hungary he published a total of five novels, which were little noticed at the time, and participated in two film productions. After the political change, some of his novels were reprinted in Hungary and also translated into different languages.
