Turk Solu
The Türk Solu (in German : Turkish Left ) is a nationalist and socialist magazine that appears weekly and is the official organ of the Kemalist group Ulusal Parti in Turkey . The magazine was founded after a split in the Workers' Party (IP) and is now run by Gökçe Fırat Çulhaoğlu . One of its authors is the former chairman of the Turkish constitutional court, Yekta Güngör Özden .
Editor and political orientation
The magazine is published by the Turkish party Ulusal Parti . Its members see themselves as left-wing nationalist, socialist and Kemalist and propagate secularism . In contrast to other socialists, they reject Marx and instead worship Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and Sultan Galiev , whom they see as the founders and ideologues of Turkish socialism. They support good relationships with Turkish-speaking and Islamic countries. The United States , Israel , the European Union , Russia and the People's Republic of China are among their enemies , as they see them as opponents of Turkey. The media published by the group - including the magazine Ileri - use a language hostile to the ethnic and religious minorities of Turkey . The Turkish-Kurdish conflict in particular is an omnipresent topic in the magazine.
