Towers to Bürglen

The Bürglen Towers are four towers in the municipality of Bürglen in the Swiss canton of Uri .

The towers were built in the 12th century and are shown in the municipal coat of arms. The so-called Meier Tower exists in its original form. The Wattigwilerturm has housed the Tell Museum since 1966 . The third and fourth towers form the foundation walls of the Tell inn and the rectory.

The towers are a cultural asset of regional importance .
