Tōru Furuya
Tōru Furuya (Japanese Furuya Tōru ; born July 31, 1953 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese actor and voice actor ( seiyū ).
Life
Furuya was born in Yokohama . He began acting as a child and was also a member of Gekidan Himawari , an acting group for children. Since 1966 he has also been working as a voice actor ( seiyū ), so Furuya has worked in numerous anime productions. His most famous speaking roles include Mamoru Chiba / Tuxedo Mask in the Magical Girl anime series Sailor Moon , Yamchu in all Dragon Ball anime series, Sabo in One Piece and Rei Furuya / Bourbon in Detective Conan .
Private
In 1976, Furuya married the actress Mami Koyama , and they divorced in 1983. He has been married to Satomi Majima since 1985, with whom he has one child. He lives in Tokyo .
