Tōwa ( Japanese 東 和 町 , - chō ) was a city in Waga-gun in Iwate Prefecture in Japan near the state capital Morioka .
history
On January 1, 2006, the city of Tōwa was integrated into the city of Hanamaki and thus no longer exists as an independent administrative unit.
