The T-25 ( Russian T-25 ), also known as the T-30 and AGROMASCH 30TK in the course of model renewals , is a Soviet and later Russian tractor , which was first produced in the Charkowski Traktorny Sawod (ХТЗ or ChTS) from 1966 . From 1972 the Wladimirski Traktorny Sawod took over the production, where the vehicle is still manufactured today. In total, well over 800,000 copies of the tractor have been built to date.

Vehicle history

The Kharkovsky Traktorny Sawod began manufacturing the T-25 in 1966. Until 1969 the predecessor DT-20 was produced in parallel, which is similar to the T-25 in size and performance. A two-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 20 hp (14.6 kW) was installed. By 1972, exactly 60,055 T-25 tractors were built in Kharkov.

In the same year the Vladimirsky Traktorny Sawod (short ВТЗ or WTS) took over the production of the vehicle. The plant had already transferred production of the T-28 to another tractor plant in 1970 and in the meantime has only produced diesel engines. By 1973 around 39,000 T-25 tractors were built in Vladimir. This means that a total of around 99,000 first-generation T-25 machines were built. From 1973 a revised version of the tractor was built with the T-25A. The power increased from 20 to 25 hp and the design of the body also changed. The vehicle received a cabin as standard and the bonnet is more angular.

It is not exactly clear until when the T-25A was produced. It is known that T-25A tractors were built in series until at least 1994. Various versions appeared, including the T-25A2, T-25A3 and T-25K models with minor technical changes. At least 731,300 copies of the T-25A model were made, not including the almost 100,000 vehicles from 1966 to 1973.

As early as 1989, with the T-30, a version with increased engine power was offered. Various modifications appeared for special purposes, as well as a version with all-wheel drive under the designation T-30A80.

In 2002 the Wladimier tractor factory was bought by the Traktornyje Sawody concern . As part of restructuring, the tractor was renamed AGROMASCH 30TK (Russian АГРОМАШ 30ТК). The vehicle is still being offered under this name as of the end of 2016. The built-in diesel engine of the type D-120 has an output of 30 hp (22 kW), and as at the beginning of production, a manual gearbox with eight forward and six reverse gears is installed. The front axle can either be driven or designed as a portal axle. With the latter option, all-wheel drive is dispensed with in favor of greater ground clearance.
