TBW Reid

TBW Reid (born July 10, 1901 in Armagh , † August 30, 1981 ) was a British Romanist.

life and work

Thomas Bertram Wallace Reid was (as the successor to Mildred K. Pope ) Professor of Romance Philology in Manchester and from 1958 to 1968 as the successor to Alfred Ewert Professor in Oxford. Stephen Ullmann followed him there .
