TC Narendran
TC Narendran ( Thekke Curuppathe Narendran ; born February 24, 1944 in Trichur , British India ; † December 31, 2013 ) was an Indian biologist.
Life
He was Professor of Zoology at the University of Calicut in Kozhikode in the Indian state of Kerala . The main focus of his scientific work was the taxonomy of insects , especially the parasitic hymenoptera . He was the discoverer and first describer of 1,043 insect species.
