The TB Neckarhausen (officially: Turnerbund Neckarhausen eV ) is a sports club from the Nürtingen district of Neckarhausen in Baden-Württemberg . It consists of departments for gymnastics , football , volleyball , popular sports and budo . It had around 1200 members in 2016.

history

Women's soccer

In 1994 TB Neckarhausen founded a syndicate with TSV Grötzingen. This was fully integrated as a team in the TB Neckarhausen in 1996. In the 1998/99 season, the team missed the leap into the regional league after defeats in the promotion games despite the championship title in the district league. With the 2003/04 season, he was promoted to the newly founded regional league. In addition, a second women's team was founded for the first time, which only started in the district league. The first team succeeded shortly afterwards in the national league 2 made it. After another good season, the direct march into the association league succeeded. In the 2008/09 season, the team secured the Württemberg indoor championship. The team was only four points short of promotion to the regional league at the end of the season. After the title in the association league after the 2009/10 season, the first team was promoted to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . In the wfv women's cup they failed in the final at VfL Sindelfingen II, but were able to qualify for the 2010/11 women's DFB cup due to the winner's lack of playing authorization . In the first round they won 4: 3 against the second division ASV Hagsfeld . In the second round they finally failed at 1. FC Köln after a 0: 5. In the following year, they made it to the final of the wfv Cup and again they qualified for the 2011/12 DFB Cup . In the first round they failed with 0: 9 to Borussia Mönchengladbach .

In the following years the club only went downhill in terms of sport, so that the club is now back in the district league. In the 2014/15 season, the team's last success to date was the district cup winners' title.

The TB Neckarhausen is a successful talent school under the direction of Susanne Tittel, whose most successful athletes are active at the Stuttgart performance base. In 2014 and 2015 he was particularly successful with the young gymnast Kim Ruoff, who was multiple German youth champion in 2015. In addition, Johanna Erb reached 12th place in the German championships. Before that, Ruoff had already become the 2015 Baden-Württemberg champion.

rugby

The TB Neckarhausen has been offering rugby as a sport for children and young people since 2015. The TBN Tigers in the age groups U8 / U10 / U12 / U14 / U16 and U18 regularly take part in the league games in Baden-Württemberg. Since 2019, the TB Neckarhausen has an active team that plays in the Regionalliga Süd.
