TRICOM-1R (Tasuki) is an Earth observation satellite from the University of Tokyo.

It was launched into low-earth orbit on February 3, 2018 at 5:03 UTC by an SS-520 launcher from the Uchinoura Space Center . It is the replica of the predecessor TRICOM-1, which was lost during the previous unsuccessful launch of the launcher.

The spin-stabilized satellite in the form of a three-unit cube is equipped with five cameras. The energy supply is provided by solar cells mounted on the surface of the satellite. It has a planned lifespan of three months before re-entering the earth's atmosphere.
