TSG Wattenbach
The TSG Wattenbach (officially gymnastic and sporting community, "Luck Up" Wattenbach 1887-1907 eV ) is a sports club from Söhrewald in the district of Kassel . The first soccer team played for a year in the then fourth-class Oberliga Hessen .
history
The club was founded in 1887 and played in the lower leagues for decades. In 1992 the promotion to the Landesliga Hessen-Nord was achieved for the first time , at that time the second highest Hessian amateur league. After a few years in relegation battle, it went back to the district league in 1998. After the immediate resurgence, TSG was able to establish itself in the regional league and became champions in 2005. The Oberliga Hessen turned out to be a number too big for the Wattenbacher and the team had to relegate again at the end of the 2005/06 season . At FV Bad Vilbel, TSG lost 1: 9. The descent from the league was followed by relegation from the regional league a year later. Since then, TSG has been playing in the Kassel regional league , which has been known as the Kassel Group League since 2008 .
