TV Bayern Live is a regional magazine for Bavaria that is broadcast as a nationwide window program on RTL Television . It has been broadcast on Saturdays from 5.45 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. since January 2015 and replaces the regular RTL program in Bavaria during this time. The broadcast will be repeated once again on Sundays at 5 p.m. on the 16 Bavarian regional television channels.

The window program is produced in Augsburg and organized by a company made up of münchen.tv , the Augsburg rt1.media group and TV Bayern , an association of Bavarian regional television stations . In addition to the RTL window program, it also produces the political program PLENUM.TV , which is also broadcast by the Bavarian regional channels.

Until the end of 2014, the regional magazine's slot was on Sundays at 5.45 p.m. and it replaced the Sunday edition of Exclusiv - Das Starmagazin . The broadcast started in November 2009 as a replacement for the Bayern-Journal previously broadcast on the Sunday slot , which in addition to the RTL window also broadcast a window program on Sat.1 on Saturdays .

reception

The broadcast can be received throughout Bavaria via a cable connection as part of the RTL program. RTL can be received via satellite with the Bavarian window program under the identifier "RTL Bayern".

The window program was also available when RTL was now being broadcast in the Munich and Nuremberg areas via DVB-T .
