Taťána Kuchařová
Taťána Kuchařová (born December 23, 1987 in Trnava , Slovakia) is a Czech photo model . Notoriety she gained by being in 2006 as the first Czech woman in the history of the competition for Miss World was chosen.
Life
Kuchařová grew up in Opotschno near Königgrätz in the north of today's Czech Republic. Shortly after graduating from high school, she was first named Miss Czech Republic . In the Miss World elections on September 30, 2006 in Warsaw she prevailed against 103 competitors. Among the six finalists, she especially had to assert herself against the second-placed Sabrina Houssami from Australia and the third-placed Iona Valentina Boitor from Romania .
She told the jury there that she would like to study at a university and then become a model. Her hobbies were tennis and horse riding and her motto in life was "always to be optimistic".
